Woodsist Festival lineup includes Waxahatchee, Sun Ra Arkestra, Guided by Voices and more
Woodsist Festival, a two-day music festival at Arrowood Farms in Accord, will return Sept. 24-25 with a typically eclectic lineup announced yesterday. The headliners for this year’s festival are Waxahatchee, Guided by Voices, Sun Ra Arkestra and Woods. Other performers include Laraaji, Les Filles de Illighadad, Mary Lattimore, Myriam Gendron, Medeski and Martin, Bonny Doon, Pachyman, Mind Maintenance, and the Reds, Pinks and Purples.
This will be the third iteration of the festival at Arrowood Farms, which is becoming an increasingly popular venue for outdoor music festivals. The popular farm brewery hosted Dirt Farmer Festival last month and will hold Follow the Arrow on June 18.
“What we’re trying to do with the festivals is connect people back into a sense of community, and back to this sense of agriculture and camaraderie,” Jacob Meglio, co-founder and managing partner of Arrowood Farms, told the Times Union last month.
As with the Dirt Farmer and Follow the Arrow festivals, Woodsist is produced by Ulster County-based Impact Concerts, a booking agency that curates musical events throughout the Hudson Valley and Catskills. This time they are working in partnership with the Woodsist record label and Ground Control Touring. Tickets are available now.
